  • Forcing someone to say the "Pledge of Allegiance" doesn't mean "allegiance." The lawyer later saying publicly that he is committed to his country and does not feel the need to say the Pledge of Allegiance means more to me. It's like forcing everyone to wear an American flag lapel pin.

  • Am I missing something here in this news item in understanding fully the rationale behind companies' needing to hire more workers? The opening paragraph denotes that productivity declined, so therefore for productivity to increase companies must hire more workers.

  • One's risks increases exponentially when hiking "solo." This attack on Taylor by coyotes still, is extremely rare and unexplainable as I write this message. Hopefully, authorities will come forth soon with an explanation that will give us some insight as to why this attack occurred.
